First, take a look at the EazyDocs Premium version 2.0.0 changelog.
Note: This is a major update. Please read the changelog and the blog post carefully before updating the plugin.
Let’s explore the major updates and new features.
Based on user feedback, we introduced the Book Chapter Elementor widget to make integrating documentation into your website easier than ever. You can now effortlessly create and showcase book chapters within your Elementor-powered pages, enhancing both content accessibility and aesthetics.
With the new subscription feature, users can easily subscribe to any documentation. When you publish new articles or docs within a subscription, users receive email notifications, ensuring they stay informed about relevant knowledge base updates.
Take control of your documentation URLs with flexible custom slug options. On the Settings Docs General page, you can now select a custom slug or remove the ‘docs’ slug entirely to tailor URLs to your specific needs.
To provide accurate insights into document engagement, we added a Unique Views option. Located under “EazyDocs > Settings > Doc Single > General,” this feature prevents page reloads from inflating view counts, ensuring each view represents genuine user interaction.
Enhance collaboration and gather targeted feedback with the Feedback on Selected Text feature. Available under “EazyDocs > Settings > Doc Single > Feedback Area,” this tool allows users to leave comments and suggestions directly on specific documentation sections to facilitate clearer communication.
Managing footnotes is now easier than ever. EazyDocs features improved footnote functionality, allowing you to seamlessly insert footnotes directly from the Gutenberg editor toolbar.
Previously, adding footnotes required extra steps. This update streamlines the process, making it quicker and more intuitive to enrich your documentation with explanatory notes.
This enhancement highlights our commitment to delivering a user-friendly and efficient documentation creation experience.
Version 2.0.0 brings a significant improvement to the conditional content feature. You can now add and manage conditional content directly from the Gutenberg editor toolbar.
Simply place your cursor where you want the conditional content to appear, then click the new conditional content button in the Gutenberg toolbar.
This functionality ensures a more intuitive and efficient documentation workflow. You can easily set conditions to display specific content blocks directly within the editing interface.
EazyDocs 2.0.0 empowers you to create dynamic, user-friendly documentation. By leveraging the improved conditional content feature, you ensure readers see the most relevant information based on their needs.
In addition to these new features, we addressed various issues and made improvements to ensure a smoother user experience. Fro
